Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Bezana (7-2) defeated on the road 11th ranked Valladolid (2-9) 76-59 on Sunday. Bezana forced 20 Valladolid turnovers. Venezuelan point guard Harold Cazorla (175-91, agency: Promo Sport ID) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Canadian-British forward Kemel Archer (198-95, college: Laurier) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Bezana players scored in double figures. Juan Garcia-abril answered with 9 points and 11 rebounds and Guillermo Raposo added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Valladolid. Valladolid's coach David Ensino let to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Bezana keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Fuenlabrada 2 and Rivas. Valladolid at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth place with nine games lost. Bezana will face Avila (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Valladolid will play against the league's second-placed Burgos Nissan and hope to win that game.
