Seventh-ranked Dacka (11-11) used its home court advantage to challenge third ranked Fenerbahce (16-6) in Istanbul. The visitors managed to secure only two-point victory 66-64. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dacka. Fenerbahce made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Fenerbahce had a 27-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Dacka was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American forward Kyle OQuinn (208-90, college: Norfolk St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 8 points and 7 rebounds. Canadian forward Dyshawn Pierre (198-93, college: Dayton, agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 9 points and 4 assists. Berk Demir (204-95) responded with 15 points and American point guard Josh Magette (185-89, college: UAH) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Four Dacka players scored in double figures. Dacka's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Fenerbahce maintains third place with 16-6 record having six points less than leader Anadolu Efes. Dacka at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Gaziantep and Afyon. Fenerbahce will play against Turk Telekom (#5) in Ankara in the next round. Dacka's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Istanbul to the arena Galatasaray.
