The most exciting game of round 3 in the OPAP Basket League took place in Paralimni. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of E.N. Paralimni (12-7) to Apoel (10-9) 71-68 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 45-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Apoel dominated on the defensive end, holding E.N. Paralimni to just 7 points in third quarter. 24 personal fouls committed by E.N. Paralimni helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for forward Landen Lucas (208-93, college: Kansas) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Davion Berry (193-91, college: Weber St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Apoel players scored in double figures. Point guard Jazzmarr Ferguson (185-89, college: IU Southeast) answered with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Titus Robinson (201-90, college: Buffalo) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for E.N. Paralimni. Apoel's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Nicosia to the arena Omonia.
