Regular Season Round 20: FMP - Igokea 82-87

Very predictable result in Belgrade where fourth ranked Bosnian Igokea (14-4) defeated 11th ranked Serbian FMP (5-11) 87-82 on Saturday. Igokea made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Steven Gray (196-89, college: Gonzaga) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and swingman Edin Atic (201-97, agency: BeoBasket) who added 12 points, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest. American guard Jaylen Hands (191-99, college: UCLA) responded with 21 points and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and power forward Stefan Djordjevic (205-98) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four FMP players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending Bosnian champion maintains fourth position with 14-4 record. Loser FMP dropped to the ninth place with 11 games lost. Igokea will face higher ranked Cedevita Ol. (#3) in Ljubljana in the next round and it may be the game of the week. FMP will play on the road against Zadar (#12) and hope to win that game.
