Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Les Sables and 13th ranked Vanves had identical 3-12 record. But Vanves was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Les Sables-D'Ollone 99-69 on Tuesday night. Center Sebastien Vertus (202-89) produced 11 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Gilles Duro (190-88) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Les Sables (4-12) moved-up to thirteenth place in Group A. Vanves lost tenth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Les Sables will meet at home higher ranked Dax-Gamarde (#12) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Vanves will play against Vendee Challans having rather not much hope for a victory.
