National League top team - Ironi Ashkelon (13-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat tenth ranked Hasharon (5-8) in Hod Hasharon 87-70. Ironi Ashkelon made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Hasharon turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Hasharon's players. The best player for the winners was American forward AlLonzo Coleman (207-89, college: Presbyterian) who scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import point guard Paul Delaney (188-86, college: UAB) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Ironi Ashkelon players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Xavier Moon (188-95, college: Morehead St., agency: Interperformances) who recorded 21 points and 4 assists and Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively.
