An interesting game for Real Madrid (23-1) which played road game in Vitoria against 3rd ranked Baskonia (19-6). First ranked Real Madrid managed to get a 11-point victory 85-74. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Baskonia. They outrebounded Baskonia 35-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. Naturalized Cape Verdean center Walter Tavares (220-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Argentinian forward Gabriel Deck (198-95) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Pierria Henry (193-93, college: Charlotte) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 assists and Argentinian guard Luca Vildoza (191-95) added 11 points in the effort for Baskonia. Five Real Madrid and four Baskonia players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Real Madrid have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-1 record. Defending champion Baskonia keeps the third place with six games lost.
