Important game to mention about took place in Hod Hasharon. Tenth ranked M.Rishon (7-9) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 9th ranked Bnei Hasharon (7-11) 87-84 in the fight for the ninth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bnei Hasharon. M.Rishon looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Bnei Hasharon was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was international guard Noam Dovrat (194-2, agency: Avi Zilberman) who scored 23 points and 6 assists. Panamanian-American forward Akil Mitchell (206-92, college: Virginia) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Abdul Gaddy (193-92, college: Washington) who recorded 18 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Elijah Thomas (206-96, college: Clemson) added 19 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bnei Hasharon's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. M.Rishon moved-up to ninth place. Newly promoted Bnei Hasharon dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. M.Rishon will face league's leader Maccabi T-A in Tel-Aviv in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
