Regular Season Round 24: Andrezieux - CFBB 62-59

Fourteenth-ranked CFBB (2-16) was very close to win a game against sixth ranked Andrezieux (10-7) on Tuesday. Andrezieux managed to secure only three-point victory 62-59. However their fans expected much easier game. Andrezieux shot 25 for 35 from the free-throw line, while CFBB only scored five points from the stripe. Andrezieux forced 24 CFBB turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by CFBB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for naturalized Guyanese forward Gide Noel (200-93) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. Cameroonian power forward Franck Yangue (205-90, agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 8 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Ousmane Dieng (201-3) replied with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and center Brice Dessert (207-3) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for CFBB. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Andrezieux maintains sixth position with 10-7 record. CFBB lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 16 games lost. Andrezieux are looking forward to face Kaysersberg (#12) at home in the next round where they are favorite. CFBB will play against SO Maritime Boulogne and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
