Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Minsk: RGUOR (#3) and SDUSHOR (#5). RGUOR (7-17) crushed visiting SDUSHOR (0-24) by 30 points 91-61. The game without a history. RGUOR led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to SDUSHOR's 20. RGUOR forced 20 SDUSHOR turnovers and outrebounded them 45-28 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by SDUSHOR's players. Forward Ivan Balduev (196-4) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Forward Maksim Alekseev (202-4) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four RGUOR players scored in double figures. Point guard Mikita Dashkevich (175-1) answered with 15 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Andrey Ozhgo (182-5) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for SDUSHOR. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. RGUOR maintains third place in League with 7-17 record having sixteen points less than leader Grodno. SDUSHOR at the other side still closes the standings with 24 games lost. RGUOR will play against Gomel (#4) on the road in the next round. SDUSHOR will play against the league's second-placed Brest and hopes to get finally their first victory.
