Quarter-Finals Round 3: Seagulls - Kobrat 105-88

Seagulls claimed the third straight win over Kobrat. The game was mostly controlled by Seagulls. Kobrat was better in fourth quarter 28-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Seagulls forced 19 Kobrat turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. It was a good game for forward Timo Heinonen (198-81, agency: Blacktop Management) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Corban Collins (190-94, college: Alabama) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Seagulls' coach Jussi Laakso used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Jordan Loveridge (198-93, college: Utah) answered with 29 points and 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the other American import forward Nate Grimes (203-96, college: Fresno St.) added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kobrat. Five Seagulls and four Kobrat players scored in double figures.
