BBL top team - EnBW Ludwigsburg (21-2) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked ratiopharm Ulm (14-10) 83-77. They outrebounded ratiopharm Ulm 39-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for naturalized Cuban swingman Yorman Polas Bartolo (191-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. U.S. Virgin Islands forward Desi Rodriguez (198-96, college: Seton Hall) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. Naturalized American center Dylan Osetkowski (206-96, college: Texas) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and American guard Troy Caupain (193-95, college: Cincinnati) added 13 points and 5 assists in the effort for ratiopharm Ulm. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. EnBW Ludwigsburg maintains first position with 21-2 record. ratiopharm Ulm lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with ten games lost. EnBW Ludwigsburg are looking forward to face Bayreuth (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ratiopharm Ulm will play against Brose Bamberg (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
