Regular Season Round 25: Bayern - MBC 85-66

There was no surprise when 16th ranked MBC (7-19) was outplayed on the road by second ranked Bayern Muenchen (21-5) 85-66 on Tuesday. American JaJuan Johnson (208-89, college: Purdue) stepped up and scored 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the winners and his fellow American import DJ Seeley (193-89, college: CS Fullerton) chipped in 19 points. Four Bayern Muenchen players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Quinton Hooker (183-95, college: N.Dakota) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Polish swingman Michal Michalak (196-93, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 13 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Bayern Muenchen. Despite that victory Bayern Muenchen went down to third position due to points difference. MBC lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixteenth place with 19 games lost. Bayern Muenchen will face 46ers (#17) in Giessen in the next round which should be an easy win for them. MBC will play at home against Chemnitz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
