Regular Season Round 15: Rouen - Paris 89-84

We should mention about the upset which took place in Rouen, where 9th ranked Paris (8-6) lost to twelfth ranked SPO Rouen (6-7) in a road game 84-89 on Friday. Paris was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Nigerian guard Ike Iroegbu (188-95, college: WSU) who scored 27 points and 8 assists. American-Nigerian forward Christian Nwogbo (200-91, college: Cedarville) chipped in 24 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Dustin Sleva (203-95, college: Shippensburg) who recorded 17 points and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Nobel Boungou-Colo (202-88) added 16 points respectively. Four Paris players scored in double figures. Paris' coach Jean-Christophe Prat rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SPO Rouen moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Paris dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. SPO Rouen will face higher ranked Quimper UJAP (#3) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
