Regular Season Round 13: Mladost ZE - Borac BL 91-83

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Bosnian Borac (8-4) against fourth ranked Serbian Mladost ZE (8-5) on Saturday night. Visiting Borac was defeated by Mladost ZE in a tough game in Zemun 83-91. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Borac. American swingman Trey Drechsel (198-96, college: GCU) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and center Dusan Tanaskovic (208-1, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds. Five Mladost ZE players scored in double figures. Serbian forward Nikola Tanaskovic (205-97, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian forward Djordje Simeunovic (200-95) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Borac in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Mladost ZE maintains fourth place with 8-5 record, which they share with MZT Skopje. Newly promoted Borac keeps the third position with four games lost.
