An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Saint Vallier. Second ranked Saint Vallier faced one of their biggest challengers STB Le Havre. Host Saint Vallier (15-2) smashed guests from Le Havre (14-7) 79-60. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of STB Le Havre. Saint Vallier forced 23 STB Le Havre turnovers. Strangely STB Le Havre outrebounded Saint Vallier 40-28 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Four Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. American forward Jerrell Wright (204-91, college: La Salle) produced 12 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Hugo Suhard (184-92) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Saint Vallier have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group B with 15-2 record having just five point less than leader Toulouse. STB Le Havre at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. Saint Vallier are looking forward to face Besancon (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. STB Le Havre will have a break next round.
