Pyrinto cruised past Kauhajoki to grab 1-0 advantage. The game without a history. Pyrinto led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American players dominated the game. Guard Marcus Lewis (196-92, college: EKU) stepped up and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Brady Skeens (201-95, college: Washburn) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Pyrinto players scored in double figures. Pyrinto's coach Miikka Sopanen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side guard Anthony Hilliard (193-86, college: ECSU) responded with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Collin Malcolm (200-97, college: WPU) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds.
