Regular Season Round 29: Mladost ZE - OKK Beograd 116-100

KLS top team - Mladost ZE (26-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat twelfth ranked OKK Beograd (11-17) in Zemun 116-100. The game was mostly controlled by Mladost ZE. OKK Beograd was better in fourth quarter 32-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Mladost ZE forced 19 OKK Beograd turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. OKK Beograd was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Trey Drechsel (198-96, college: GCU) nailed 16 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and French Stephane Gombauld (205-97, agency: Slash Sports) accounted for 19 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Nikola Djurisic (203-4, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 26 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and Luka Paunovic (197-2, agency: BeoBasket) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists respectively for OKK Beograd in the defeat. OKK Beograd at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Metalac. Mladost ZE will play against league's second-placed Vojvodina NS in Novi Sad in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. OKK Beograd will play on the road against Metalac (#11) in Valjevo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
