Regular Season Round 28: Mulhouse - CFBB 82-61

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Mulhouse (10-8) outscored at home 14th ranked CFBB (2-19) 82-61 on Friday. Mulhouse looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by CFBB's players. CFBB was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Central African power forward Johan Grebongo (202-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Canadian forward Guillaume Payen-Boucard (198-90, college: Carleton) who added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Five Mulhouse players scored in double figures. Mulhouse's coach Jean-Luc Monschau felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side swingman Ousmane Dieng (201-3) responded with 20 points and 5 steals and point guard Rayan Rupert (186-4) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Mulhouse have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position in Group B with 10-8 record. CFBB lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 19 games lost. Mulhouse will face Besancon (#11) at home in the next round. CFBB will play against the league's second-placed Saint Vallier having rather not much hope for a victory.
