Regular Season Round 28: Orchies - GET Vosges 81-85

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Orchies where 9th ranked Orchesien BC (8-12) was defeated by tenth ranked GET Vosges (8-12) 85-81 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Thomas Tshikaya (201-92, college: Angelo St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds and Paul Bouloukouet (192-93) who added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Guillaume Merie (198-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and Malcolm Gountas (189-94) scored 17 points and 8 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. GET Vosges moved-up to ninth place in Group B, which they share with Orchies. GET Vosges will face higher ranked Andrezieux (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
