Regular Season Round 19: Le Mans - Cholet 56-83

The game in Le Mans supposed to be quite interesting. Second ranked Cholet (12-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Le Mans (10-7). Cholet smashed Le Mans 83-56 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Le Mans. Cholet forced 33 Le Mans turnovers and had a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Le Mans' players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Leopold Delaunay (193-1) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Nathan De Sousa (187-3) contributed with 15 points and 8 assists for the winners. Four Cholet players scored in double figures. Cholet's coach Regis Boissie felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hugo Mienandi (199-3) answered with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Dutch point guard Kezia Heulin (183-2) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Le Mans. Cholet have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 12-2 record having 2 victories less than leader ASVEL. Le Mans at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Cholet are looking forward to face Limoges (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Le Mans will have a break next round.
