An interesting game for Ramla (19-2) which played road game in Ashdod against second-ranked Ashdod (14-7). First ranked Ramla managed to get a 5-point victory 79-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ashdod. The former international point guard Naama Shafir (170-90, college: Toledo) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 assists. American guard Allison Hightower (178-88, college: LSU) contributed with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American center Khadijiah Cave (190-95, college: Baylor) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import point guard Alexis Peterson (173-95, college: Syracuse) added 21 points and 7 assists in the effort for Ashdod.
