Date: April 7, 2021
Vilpas stormed past Seagulls to open 3-1 advantage in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Vilpas. Seagulls managed to win second period 26-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Vilpas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Seagulls helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Jeremiah Wood (200-85, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import guard Myles Stephens (196-97, college: Princeton) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Vilpas players scored in double figures. International Shawn Huff (198-84, college: Valpo) replied with 22 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and American guard Kendale McCullum (194-96, college: Lewis, agency: Octagon Europe) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Seagulls. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
