Vilpas held off Seagulls to ensure the Korisliiga Finals berth. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 47-43 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Vilpas looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for American power forward Jeremiah Wood (200-85, agency: Inception Sports) who saved his team from a defeat with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 blocks. The other American import guard Myles Stephens (196-97, college: Princeton) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American forward Wayne Martin (201-93, college: Tennessee St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) and international Shawn Huff (198-84, college: Valpo) added 7 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Seagulls.
