We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Brno (16-15) was rolled over at home by sixth ranked Pardubice (14-16) 117-96. Pardubice shot 63.1 percent from the field and made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Pardubice forced 21 Brno turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. Pardubice players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Brno was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international point guard Tomas Vyoral (190-92, agency: Octagon Europe) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side and the former international power forward David Skranc (203-96, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 10 points and 8 rebounds. Defending champion maintains sixth place in Places 1-6 with 14-16 record. Brno at the other side keeps the fifth position with 15 games lost. Pardubice will play against higher ranked Opava (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Brno will play against the league's second-placed Kolin and hopes to get back on the winning track.
