Even 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by American swingman Brandon Thomas (198-84, college: UMass, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for 46ers. His fellow American import center John Bryant (211-87, college: Santa Clara) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains second position with 23-5 record having just three points less than leader Ludwigsburg. 46ers at the other side keep the seventeenth place with 23 games lost. ALBA Berlin will play against Braunschweig (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. 46ers will play against BG Goettingen (#9) and hope to get back on the winning track.
