Regular Season Round 20: Fos-Provence - Blois 66-69

The most exciting game of round 22 in the ProB took place in Fos-sur-Mer. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Provence Basket (11-6) to fourth ranked ADA Blois (11-6) 69-66 in the game for the third place. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Thomas Cornely (190-91) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Senegalese Mbaye Ndiaye (203-99) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. ADA Blois' coach Mickael Hay used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Center Bodian Massa (205-97) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and American point guard Jamar Diggs (190-88, college: Wofford, agency: Octagon Europe) added 22 points and 5 assists in the effort for Provence Basket. ADA Blois have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Fos-Provence. ADA Blois will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Provence Basket will play again on the road against ADA Blois and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
