Rather expected game when 12th ranked H.Acre (8-16) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Hasharon (11-14) 89-84 on Friday. It was a great evening for American forward Christian Cunningham (201-97, college: JSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard JeQuan Lewis (186-94, college: VCU) helped adding 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Hasharon's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American forward Emmitt Williams (198-98, college: LSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds and guard Daniel Najar (193-1) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. They have a solid series of three victories in a row. Hasharon maintains tenth place with 11-14 record. Newly promoted H.Acre keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Hasharon will face league's leader Ironi Ashkelon on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. H.Acre will play against E.Netanya (#7) and hope to win that game.
