Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Granollers (1-9) was defeated at home by second ranked Mataro (8-3) 72-57 on Saturday. Mataro outrebounded Granollers 41-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Jaume Sole (195-91) stepped up and scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and forward Jordi Juanola (196-98) chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Mataro players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Albert Griso (202-85) responded with 9 points and Jordi Serra (-95) scored 8 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mataro maintains second place in Group C4 with 8-3 record having ten points less than leader Andujar, which they share with Quart. Granollers lost eighth consecutive game.
