At the losing side American forward Maarten Leunen (206-85, college: Oregon) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and international swingman Andrea Pecchia (196-97) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Reggio Emilia moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Pesaro. Loser Cantu stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Reggio Emilia will meet higher ranked Sassari (#5) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Cantu will play against Fortitudo BO (#14) in Bologna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
