No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Lille Metropole (10-8) defeated at home 13th ranked Nantes (7-10) 98-92 on Monday. They outrebounded Nantes 47-20 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Lille Metropole looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Nantes was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Swiss point guard Jonathan Kazadi (195-91) who scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Raijon Kelly (193-93, college: Angelo St.) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. Lille Metropole's coach Jean-Marc Dupraz used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Armenian point guard Terry Smith (185-86, college: Mercyhurst) who recorded 15 points and 7 assists and American swingman Rene Rougeau (198-86, college: UNLV, agency: Blacktop Management) added 21 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) respectively.
