Very expected game when 7th ranked Torrent (5-15) was defeated on the road by first ranked Gandia (14-6) 83-74 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was center Oskars Hernandez (211-1) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Jose Merencio (195-0) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Alejandro Terrades (196-1) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Hector Fabregat (189-1) added 6 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Gandia have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group E-Descen with 14-6 record.
