The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated MLP Academics Heidelberg (3-1) at the home court on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Kirchheim Knights (2-2) 118-114. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of MLP Academics Heidelberg. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in Group 2. Kirchheim Knights made 31-of-36 free shots (86.1 percent) during the game. Kirchheim Knights is looking forward to face league's second-placed Eisbaeren Bremerhaven on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
