Regular Season Round 30: Fab Five BUBA - NSA 67-92

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Sofia: NSA (#4) and Fab Five BUBA (#8). Fab Five BUBA was smashed at home by 25 points 67-92 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. NSA shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Martin Petrov (182-1) who scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Martin Mandalski (188-99) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Five NSA players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Martin Gorunov (198-96) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and swingman Kamen Atanasov (194-94) added 17 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals respectively. Newly promoted NSA maintains fourth position with 17-8 record. Fab Five BUBA lost fifth consecutive game. Fab Five BUBA at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
