Ashdod regained the lead in the championship series. They beat Ramat Gan to take 2-1 lead in the Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Ashdod. Maccabi Ramat Gan managed to win fourth quarter 12-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Maccabi Ramat Gan to just 4 points in second quarter. It was a good game for American center Khadijiah Cave (190-95, college: Baylor) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Her fellow American import point guard Alexis Peterson (173-95, college: Syracuse) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners. American swingman Alex Harden (180-93, college: Wichita St.) answered with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and international Lev Tal (179-97) added 11 points in the effort for Maccabi Ramat Gan.
