Rustavi edged TSU on the road to sweep the series. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 8 points. Rustavi dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to TSU's 34. They outrebounded TSU 39-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Rustavi looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward JyLan Washington (206-97, college: Tennessee St., agency: Interperformances) scored 28 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Mike Davis (193-96, college: Queens, NC) chipped in 25 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Rustavi's coach Anatoli Boisa used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Brandon Sly (180-96, college: ASU) responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international swingman Mikhail Chochua (193-87) scored 15 points and 6 assists.
