Quarter-Finals Round 2: Kavkasia - Batumi 79-106

Date: May 8, 2021
The game was mostly controlled by Batumi. Kavkasia managed to win third quarter 26-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Kavkasia 43-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. Batumi looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Nikola Vujovic (211-93) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Antwain Johnson (188-97, college: Buffalo, agency: Green Sports Management) chipped in 27 points. American power forward Shannon Fowler (203-93, college: UWG) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import swingman Markese Mayfield (196-95, college: Ferris St.) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Batumi and four Kavkasia players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
