Everything went according to plan in Bonn where sixth ranked ratiopharm Ulm (23-11) beat 12th ranked Telekom Baskets (12-22) 94-81 on Sunday. ratiopharm Ulm shot 61.8 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. American guard Troy Caupain (193-95, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Demitrius Conger (196-90, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 18 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) during the contest. Five ratiopharm Ulm players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian Strahinja Micovic (205-92, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American swingman Chris Babb (196-90, college: Iowa St., agency: Wasserman) scored 19 points.
