Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Chemnitz (12-22) was defeated at home by second ranked ALBA Berlin (28-6) 91-81 on Sunday. ALBA Berlin looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American guard Peyton Siva (183-90, college: Louisville) scored 13 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Swedish guard Marcus Eriksson (201-93) chipped in 17 points during the contest. ALBA Berlin's coach Aito Garcia Reneses used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side guard Malte Ziegenhagen (195-91, college: Keiser) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and forward Jonas Richter (205-97) scored 18 points. Four Chemnitz players scored in double figures. ALBA Berlin have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 28-6 record having just two points less than leader Ludwigsburg. Newly promoted Chemnitz dropped to the thirteenth place with 22 games lost.
