Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twenty sixth ranked Biella and 25th ranked Bergamo had identical 1-1 record. This time Biella used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Bergamo 82-66 on Sunday night. Biella dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Bergamo's 22. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Deontae Hawkins (203-93, college: Boston Coll., agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds and Marco Lagana (197-93) who added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Biella players scored in double figures. Biella's coach Iacopo Squarcina used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side point guard Ruben Zugno (187-96, agency: SLN) responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized Albanian power forward Rei Pullazi (203-93) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Biella (2-1) moved-up to twenty fifth place. Loser Bergamo dropped to the bottom position with two games lost. Biella will face SAzzurra RO (#26) in Roma in the next round.
