Ramat Gan held off Ashdod to force the decisive fifth game in the championship series. The game without a history. Maccabi Ramat Gan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ashdod to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Maccabi Ramat Gan dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Ashdod's 18. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Alex Harden (180-93, college: Wichita St.) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. International Lev Tal (179-97) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American center Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and her fellow American import point guard Alexis Peterson (173-95, college: Syracuse) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Ashdod.
