Semi-Finals Game 1: Haukar - Keflavik 77-63

Haukar beat Keflavik to ensure 1-0 lead. The game was mostly controlled by Haukar. Keflavik was better in third quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Haukar dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Keflavik's 26. They outrebounded Keflavik 44-33 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Haukar brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Alyesha Lovett (183-93, college: Cincinnati) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 7 rebounds. The former international forward Sara Hinriksdottir (185-96, college: Canisius) contributed with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Venezuelan Daniela Wallen (180-95, college: Okla City) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and international guard Katla Gardarsdottir (161-99) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Keflavik.
