Regular Season Round 30: Evreux - Nancy 90-87

Important game to mention about took place in Evreux. Eighth ranked ALM Evreux (15-12) saved a 3-point victory at home edging second-best Sluc Nancy (17-9) 90-87 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sluc Nancy. ALM Evreux dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Sluc Nancy's 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Sluc Nancy was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Austin Tilghman (185, college: Monmouth) notched 20 points and 8 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and swingman Jean-Philippe Dally (200-96) supported him with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Five ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 19 points and 10 assists by point guard Enzo Goudou-Sinha (182-98) did not help to save the game for Sluc Nancy. Lucas Ugolin (196-2) added 16 points. ALM Evreux moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Denain and Lille. Sluc Nancy at the other side dropped to the third position with nine games lost. They share it with St-Quentin. ALM Evreux will play against league's second-placed ADA Blois on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sluc Nancy will play against Poitiers and hopes to get back on the winning track.
