Valur nipped KR to bounce back from the opening loss. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-84. Valur dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to KR's 26. They outrebounded KR 50-33 including a 24-8 advantage in offensive rebounds.
