Leiden cruised past Den Bosch in the championship series opener. Leiden shot 63.5 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 65.2 percentage. Leiden looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Den Bosch's players. American point guard Riley Lachance (188-96, college: Vanderbilt) fired 23 points and 5 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winners. His fellow American import forward Michael Finke (208-96, college: GCU) chipped in 23 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Finke is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American-Iraqi guard Demario Mayfield (196-91, college: Angelo St.) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Jonathon Williams (198-90, college: Wagner, agency: Players Group) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
