Limburg upset Aalst on the road to advance into the semifinal round. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Okapi Aalst won fourth quarter 18-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Limburg United made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Silas Melson (193-96, college: Gonzaga) who scored 28 points. The former international Wen Boss Mukubu (198-83, college: UAB) chipped in 16 points. Melson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Montenegrin Ivan Maras (207-86) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and Montenegrin point guard Vladimir Mihailovic (193-90) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively. Five Limburg United and four Okapi Aalst players scored in double figures.
