Milano knocked down Venezia to open 2-0 lead in the series. Milano made 18-of-18 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Milano outrebounded Venezia 32-20 including 25 on the defensive glass. American guard Malcolm Delaney (191-89, college: Virginia Tech) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points. Spanish guard Sergio Rodriguez (191-86) contributed with 14 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four Milano players scored in double figures. American-Dominican center Mitchell Watt (208-89, college: Buffalo, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Stefano Tonut (194-93) added 10 points in the effort for Venezia. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
