Maccabi Tel Aviv nipped Hapoel Beer Sheva to secure the semifinal appearance. Maccabi T-A made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. Strangely H.Beer Sheva outrebounded Maccabi T-A 38-25 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Croatian center Ante Zizic (209-97, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. American-Italian forward Angelo Caloiaro (203-89, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 18 points. International Spencer Weisz (193-95, college: Princeton) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Amir Bell (193-96, college: Princeton) added 21 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Maccabi T-A and five H.Beer Sheva players scored in double figures.
