Anadolu Efes crushed Fenerbahce in the opening game of the championship series. Anadolu Efes outrebounded Fenerbahce 37-17 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Serbian guard Vasilije Micic (196-94, agency: BeoBasket) fired 19 points and 6 assists for the winners. International guard Shane Larkin (182-92, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 23 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Anadolu Efes players scored in double figures. Czech center Jan Vesely (213-90, agency: BeoBasket) produced 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and French guard Nando De Colo (196-87) added 14 points and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
