Finals Game 2: AEK - Promitheas 113-101

AEK outgunned Promitheas to draw things level. The game without a history. AEK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 61.5 percent from the field and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. AEK shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Daryl Macon (190-95, college: Arkansas) scored 42 points (!!!) and 4 assists (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Angolan center Yanick Moreira (211-91, college: SMU, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five AEK players scored in double figures. Puerto Rican guard Gian Clavell (193-93, college: Colorado St.) responded with 45 points (!!!) and American guard Jerian Grant (196-92, college: Notre Dame, agency: Wasserman) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
